Pixen 3.0!
Pixen 3.0 is finally available! Check out the new project site for it here and get downloading!

Took us long enough.

If you're upgrading from r2v4, you're going to see some pretty massive changes. If you're upgrading from r3b2, the changes are relatively minor. Most importantly, the application is now a universal binary. Took us long enough, but at least we beat Adobe.

Pixen 3 Beta 2 Double-Plus On!
It's been three months since the last beta, and we've been busy. We really appreciate all the feedback you've given us; it's helped shape this next version.

Which we're launching today. Go grab Pixen r3b2, which now features animation, a reenvisioned palette, documentation, many bug fixes, and even more optimizations! A full list of changes is available here.

This time, things are looking so good that we took some screenshots so you all can see what you're getting before you download. Or if you're a PC user, so you can see what you're missing out on. Screenshots are up here.

Enjoy, and please telll us what you think!

Pixen 3 Beta 1 Launch
So we've gone ahead and skipped r2v5. This release is going to be huge. And today, we'd like to give you all a taste.

Open Sword Group is proud to announce today's release of Pixen 3 Beta 1. Now, it's still not feature complete (so please don't submit this to any update sites), but the bugs are mostly gone, and we feel it's ready for general consumption.

For an idea of what we've been working on for the last eight months, just look at the changelog, which spans several pages—even bigger than r2. And we're not done yet. There will be substantial feature additions to this build before the final release.

More details are available on the beta page, where you can download a copy and read about what we'd like you to check out. We really need your feedback on this build!

Thank you all for making this last year so amazing.
